Bio
Hi, I'm Jeremy and I trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. I've lived in Australia all my life. Growing up in the Blue Mountains, near Sydney, and currently living in Kingswood, on the edge of Sydney. I am married to the lovely Linda and we have two children, Caleb and Obadiah (Obi).

I have the privilege of studying theology at Moore College. I am constantly amazed at how wonderful God is and the incredible grace he has shown us through his son, Jesus Christ.

The most exciting part of my life of course was becoming a Christian. I thought you might like to know how God worked in my life to bring me to be one of his.

I grew up in a semi-Christian family. I would say Mum was a Christian, but Dad didn't trust in Jesus at that time. I can remember not wanting to be known as a person who had a Christian family and so often hid what I thought. Around year 8 a new friend came to my school. He was a Christian who was keen to stand up and be counted. He invited me to his youth group, which he had only just joined himself. At that youth group I heard about the Lord Jesus and came to understand what he had done for me. I think there was a process that took place where gradually I realised that I was not living the life God wanted me to live. I understood the fact that Jesus had died on the cross and rose again. But then I came to realise that he had done it for me, taking the punishment I deserved so I could be in relationship with God. One significant learning step for me was in year 12 at school when I was on a Christian leadership camp. We were looking at what Jesus went through in the short hours before he was arrested. I came to understand that what Jesus did for me was not just a simple death. In fact he was asking God if there was some other way. This struck me as amazing. The Son of God, God himself, asking if there was some other way. And this man then went through with it giving up his life for me. This called for my total obedience. This called me to live a life that follows Jesus. Well I have been doing this since and am even more convinced that what I believed then is true and is the only way to live life.

Now with my wife and sons I work hard to help them grow as Christians. We both ensure we read the Bible to them daily. We hope, under God's will, for them to become men who trust in Jesus too.

Anyway, hope that helps you understand me a little. Please feel free to ask any questions if you want.
